To add the POI's select the My TomTom Icon at the bottom of your desktop, and then select Add Shared POI, which should then open a web browser allowing you to add your POI's if your IP settings are correct |
I don't have "Add Shared POI", checked the connection and get a green OK tick. _________________ Triumph Tiger 800 XRt

Are you looking at bottom of your computer desktop just to the left of where the time and date normally is? Sometimes there is a small pointer so you can expand to see hidden icons, and the TomTom Home Icon should be there?
If so, on the settings About Tab, have you ticked to download the latest version of home or beta versions? You should have downloaded and Installed Home version 3.02.251 _________________ GO 620, Tomtom Android EU,

Yes and Yes.
I have v 3.02.251 that was the first update I got today but don't have Add Shared POI. _________________ Triumph Tiger 800 XRt

Your unit has to be connected to the computer to see it.
And, if it is connected, try clearing the cache and saving the settings. _________________ David |

Do you know the IP of your computer?
It should be something like 192.168.1.1, anything starting with 192.168 should be ok...
If your computer IP is showing something like 169.154.1.55 then it's your ethernet IP setting that needs fixing, but first try clear the cache and save settings as dhn has just mentioned above. _________________ GO 620, Tomtom Android EU,

Making headway.... connected 1005 to my wifes computer and it downloaded and updated as expected. Then connected it to my laptop and the Add shared POI is now in the home 3 list, strange but I have it now. _________________ Triumph Tiger 800 XRt

via LIVE 120 all updated and added PGPSW cameras. Did a number of tests of known roads and found I had a double warning for all cameras except Mobiles. I decided to uninstall all but the Mobiles for now and see how things go. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

Same here. Saw your post so cleared my cache, then bingo! it then downloaded the update. Probably only the continued improvement in that particular interface. _________________ Gee-Pee

I had that also.
Was hoping it was the new map update. _________________ GO 620, Tomtom Android EU,

Since this latest marvellous update of "My TomTom" on my PC when I hook up my 1005 it just says "Connecting" but also claims it is up to date?
