Hi,
Is it possible for the camera app to warn you about approaching cameras whilst running tomtom app on iphone4?
I have the latest versions of the camera app and tomtom with os4 installed on my iphone4.
Thanks |

any news of this? I have iphone 4 with CamerAlert and the Tom Tom app, but the cameras are not being flagged up in the Tom Tom app. _________________ Panet

Set Cam Alert running and put it in the background before starting the TomTom app, this way you get the audible warnings from CamAlert along with the nav app from TomTom.
If you want to mess around and have the speed camera warnings on screen in the TomTom app have a read of This If you try it and get stuck please post in the linked thread rather than this one - Mike |

CamerAlert has been multi-tasking compatible for some time now. It can only provide audio alerts when running in the background though. There is no way we can inject our camera alerts into the TomTom app, simply not possible and will never happen, sorry.
There is an unsupported solution for installing our database in the current version of TomTom iPhone if you wish to try it as Mike has linked above.. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks Both. I thought CA was running in the background when I tested it out today, but got no audible warnings. Only had the iphone a few days so will double check background apps and try again to be sure. If that works I'll see what it's like before I try Mike's extensive fix! _________________ Panet
