I have a motorhome and travel about quite a bit I want to record my journeys, mileage, interesting camping sites etc and am looking for a good way of doing it.
I have a stand alone tom tom, tom tom on my iphone and the iphone itself geotags photos. (have a pc and laptop too)
Am thinking of a igotu gps tracker.
Anyone got any good solutions?
Many thanks in advance

A GPS datalogger is a good start. You'll need to consider how many datapoints your logger can store before it is full. At a guess you'll want one that will last at least the length of a days driving?
You could always use your iPhone if it's connected to a car charger? There are many apps that will log your route, MotionX is a good one for example. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Or if you wanted another sat-nav, then many of the Garmins and the latest TomTom Rider models support trip logs and "breadcrumb" trails. |

iGotU is not bad. You should also consider the Columbus V900 - best datalogger ever! We have reviewed them both on the site, let me know if you need the links. _________________ Lutz

If you are feeling confident, you could always use your existing TomTom (depending upon model) by installing TripMaster on it:- http://www.webazar.org/tomtom/tripmaster.php?lang=uk. This program save your routes according to your settings.
You can already save your favorite campsites/locations/etc. into a custom POI folder on your TomTom (again, depending upon model). _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599
