Well, this CP5 certainly sounds like the proverbial Dog's Doodahs!
As an LGV driver I am particularly interested in the RV option for obvious reasons. So I have a question for you guys (sorry if it's a dumb one!) - can I use my existing TomTom gear, i.e. my wired GPS, and just buy the software? I understand that the maps are pre-loaded onto a 128mb SD card. I am right in assuming that you can also run (obviously not together!) TTN3 by swapping SD cards? Though if CP5 is as good as the review says it is then I can't really think why I would want to 8O
Cheers

Sure Tom, any GPS hardware will work with CoPilot 5. Throughout the beta period and review process I have used a large handful of GPS Receivers we have previously reviewed here on the website and they've all worked with the copy we had. You can also have TomTom installed onto the same SD card (providing there's enough space available) if you want.

Mark did you email ALK or ? I've tried to contact them a few times to upgrade from INS 3.x to copilot 5 (dont like teamwarriors/hp's) lack of support for the product.. I've heard nothing back... did you upgrade through the website or?? |

Have been in contact with Mobile Data Direct.
Their promised delivery date from ALK is Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. (12th or 13th). The sales chap was confident that this would me met. _________________ Please follow me on twitter @mdyson1968 |
