Yesterday I got my new Nulink 1695 sat nav and a micro SDCard containing the map of the USA.
The internal memory is nearly full and the SDCard is also quite full.
Can I
1. Copy the USA map over to a larger micro SDCard without experiencing any problems with the USA map or is the map linked to the original SDCard?
2. Swap some of the files from internal memory to the SDCard. If so which ones can I swap over? Does it matter where the POI folder is placed? _________________ David

1. I think you will find the map is "locked" to the SD card it came on, to prevent misuse.
2. On my nuvi, I have my POIs on an SD card, and it works just fine. Apparently it loads quicker there, as well.
(My .poi file sits in a folder called Poi. This Poi folder, together with any maps on the SD card, sit in a folder called Garmin).
Also on my nuvi, I saved some space in internal memory. First I backed everything up to the PC. Then I deleted all the foreign language files within the folders called Voice, Help and Text. I also deleted the unused files within the Vehicle (icon) folder. And I deleted the Cyclops files from the internal Poi folder, because I use the PGPSW cameras rather than the Garmin ones.
