You might get some clues about what CameraManager has done (or hasn't done)
if you R-click on its icon, press Settings and select the Directories tab.

This should show you the date of issue of your latest database download, and the date CM last checked for updates.

Dales.

Camera Manager 3 works with ALL Nuvi units. Something is obviously wrong and we need to work out what.

BMPs are the icons. Some units don't work with MP3 files but you don't need those.

Have you configured the directories yet?

I would try closing CM and then move the files in your POILoader upload folder somewhere else. Restart CM and see if you can download the database.

There's a new PGPSW database out today.
See if Ash10 downloads it now (now that there's something for it to do).

If you R-click on the Ash10 CameraManager icon, you can select "Check now..." to force a check (if it seems unwilling to perform one itself).

I've used various iterations of Ash10's Camera Manager for several years without problem. However, in the last few days it's begun to tell me the POI directory is not set. When I check the setting in CM I can see that a suffix has been added to the folder, which now ends \Speed Cameras~{w. If I browse to the location I can reset the directory so that the ~{w suffix disappears, and so does the warning. This lasts for only a short time, though, before the warning re-occurs and the suffix reappears.

Does anyone have any suggestions how to prevent this?
