The major addition is MapShare. That may be plus to some! _________________ Darren Griffin |

For anyone using the PGPSW Speed camera database on the TomTom iPhone app you will need a new mapsettings.cfg file and you will have to re-install the POI files/ ogg vorbis warning sounds.
Darren if I e-mail you the required file later can we get it added to the sticky thread in the Apple software forum section? - Mike |

Oh fantastic, I didn't realise you can use the database within the app. I must have missed that bit of news. |

If you read the opening post in the sticky here, all will be revealed. You do not need a JailBroken phone. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks Darren, I had just finished reading that and edited my previous post accordingly when you must have been replying. Good news although I may continue to use the CA app for directional warnings. |

The TomTom solution is a kludge and there is no knowing how long it will remain possible. CamerAlert is still the way I'd recommend, auto-updates etc and easy reporting.
But it's another option for some at least. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Ah well. Back to CamerAlert.
I don't have a working device to get a different mapsettings file from.
If I find one, what software version on the GO does it need to be from? _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

Just download the file set thats on the sticky thread which contains the instructions for installation, if you then unzip the files I think you will find what you are looking for
To produce the mapsettings.cfg needs a PND loaded with V860 mapping - Mike |
