I have received notification in myGarmin that a map upgrade is available.
However, it is showing as an upgrade of 2011.10 (April 2010) rather than 2011.20 (July 2010).
Anyone know why a previous, rather than the most current, map is being updated? |

Hi,
I have the same update showing as available. Possibly another hiccup in the Garmin software, I'm having a few issues with the camera update at the moment which Garmin are 'working on'. Think I'll leave it a few days and see what happens, especially after the last couple of updates which were flawed.

I've got the same for my 765T as well. In addition, on the home screen of the myGarmin account I've got the following:
Code: | nüMaps Lifetime™ Europe map update ready for your nüvi® 765T. |
It also shows on the myDashboard as Code: | A free map update is available through your nüMaps Lifetime subscription. | followed by a Update Now button. Did anybody try that yet?
It looks somewhat strange that the April map has an update, but if we look at the number of month since the July update, it might well be.

Map update completed via the home page with no problems. Garmin told me that the reason I had the older version showing was because my unit (a replacement) was registered in May and could have had the latest update available which was the April one. Seems a bit odd as I had already done that, but as I said I have now downloaded the latest to both my units.

When you run the new Garmin Map Installer (click the Lifetime Map Upgrade button and follow the instructions) it downloads and installed 2011.30 maps even though as you say 2011.10 or 2011.20 shows on the web dashboard initially, it confirms the 2011.30 before you download and install _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600

Thanks strange how on my garmin account it still shows as 2011.20 a little confusing. Thanks for the info though. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 3790T Firmware 4.30

I can only speak for Ireland but 2 motorway sections (M8 & M9) opened around 6 months ago aren't on the update yet. |

Mine also shows 2011.20 as the latest. I've been in touch with Garmin who say I should be entitled to 2011.30, but it doesn't show up.
Anyone any idea how I can get it? [I'm waiting for Garmin Support to suggest something - ha ha ha] |

The new M3 motorway completed in June is not there, but its not even on NAVTEQ yet so that's no surprise. |

I'm looking at the Kenwood DNX5260 at the moment. I noticed that the map version is now described as v.12 on the Kenwood site. Does anyone know what version (e.g. 2011) this means?
In other Web (retailer) adverts the description is usually in terms of City Navigator NT... and typically specifies an older version.
I contacted Kenwood a couple of months ago and they said that it was still on 2009 (n.b. there's no Numap guarantee on these units) and this ruled it out for me on principle alone (i.e. pay a lot, get less ), but I have a feeling that v.12 actually refers to a relatively up to date map.
I have checked Garmin's site but could not find anything useful there.
Thanks
