Well on my nuvi 255, the screenshot bitmap pictures are found by plugging the device into the computer. They are in a folder called scrn, within the Garmin folder.

You can't use those screenshots the same as a geo-coded image tho, so no navigating back to where they were taken except by memory. _________________ Garmin 1695 / 255 / 760 w/MSN - Droid w/Google nav + Navigon - Navigon 8100T - Dakota10 - GPSMap76C - GeoMate Jr. |

Besides the obvious use for model reviews, they're also helpful when trying to explain route issues or odd symbols on screen. A picture is often much easier than attempting to write a description. I've also printed my on screen route and route detail text for a gps-less friend a couple of times using the screenshots. _________________ Garmin 1695 / 255 / 760 w/MSN - Droid w/Google nav + Navigon - Navigon 8100T - Dakota10 - GPSMap76C - GeoMate Jr. |
