I recently subscribed to HD Traffic on my iPhone (even though I already have it on my TT940). I don't know if I have overlooked some setting, but now every few minutes (well, frequently anyway) it asks me for my Apple password. This is obviously Not a Good Thing while driving. Any thoughts please ? _________________ Tony

Is your Traffic subscription showing on the device?
TomTom Menu | TomTom Shop | TomTom Traffic _________________ Darren Griffin |

I think so. I have got two entries on that screen. The first says HD Traffic W. Europe, valid until 6 Dec 2011 but then the second says Activating Subscription ... TomTom HD Traffic 12 months but then is displaying the spinwheel.
However, traffic is actually working. _________________ Tony

There is some interconnection between subscriptions and iTunes. I don't know what that is but have you actually entered your iTunes Account details when prompted?
Failing that, may be worth while re-installing and then restoring your Traffic Sub. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Yes, because as I say, it's actually working, just prompts me every so often for password.
I'm not sure how I would re-install my traffic sub ? _________________ Tony

That doesn't mean that the iTunes part has registered though. It appears to need to do this step, did it on mine and may not have gone through properly on yours hence the repeated requests.

After you have re-installed TomTom. Just go to the Shop via the menu and select 'restore purchases'. You may be asked for your login details but it's very simple. _________________ Darren Griffin |

OK, I've done that thanks. I'll leave it running at my desk here and see what happens. _________________ Tony
