|
|
We have offered a Nissan Connect compatible version of our database for some time now.
In discussion with members of the Nissan Qashqai Forums we recently modified the on-screen alert text to provide more detail including camera type and direction.
We have done this to offer a better service but if you prefer the simpler, less verbose, version, you can download the 'Nissan Connect (Old)' version.
The (Old) version has the simpler layout that was previously employed and now you have the choice of more information or less.
If you have any comments or suggestions regarding our Nissan Connect database, please post in the Nissan Connect area of our forums.

Hi,
Great news about the new Nissan Connect update.
Nissan really need to get their act together, as I understand the GPS part ( or possibly the whole unit) is built by Bosch. I have to say it's the worst Sat Nav I've ever had.
I've put my old Garmin Street Pilot i3 in my wife's Nissan Micra, and it's much better, giving speed warnings of 30 mph and 60 mph, plus icons of cameras and more accurate than Nissan Connect.
Thanks for the update.
Keep up the good work.

I've yet to find a factory fit system that is very good, some are OK, many are very poor.
They're still a long way behind the curve in features that have long since been standard on portable devices. _________________ Darren Griffin |

BMW's newest, Startin in some late 2009 model and now most 2010's, system is top shelf and in front of the curve with outstanding vioce command and bluetooth clarity. Includsed dragable screens, etc, etc etc, more features than I will every use. I have BNW's for the past 15 years and they were usually a couple years behind the forefront, ie mp3 capability, but now their electronic offerrings are class leading. Even the newest I controller is easy to use and not even needed in many cases because of the excellent voice command system.
