trouble conecting ipaq 5450 to a bluetooth tomtom gps unit

hi tomtom is already installed on my ipaq, i got from ebay a original tomtom bluetooth gps unit (the small silver rectangle shape one)

i cant seem to get them to connect? i power on the gps and it flasshes blue but the ipaq's not picking it up?

i checked bluetooth is enabled in the wireless section

just to also add on the bluetooth gps it has a flashing blue light when on and as flashing green light to the right of it is that right?

i have tried fiddling with every setting on ipaq searching etc it found it i think and in the comunications bit it says its in the outgoing bit? shouldnt it be incoming?

load tomtom no gps signal, i dont know what gps to click for it to conect to either as has tomtom gps one but it dont say wireless or bluetooth like some of the other makes it has ya can choose from
