A Critical Update was released for the MyTomTom app over the weekend, and seems to have cured (for my anyhow) the random connected / non-connected issues we were having _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600

Tried to install this version several times now and keep getting the message
“Driver Pre Install 64exe has stopped working”
Anyone got any ideas if this is an error my end or Tom Tom’s? |

No problems on my home 32bit Windows 7 machine
On my 64but Windows 7 laptop it did report the error but a retry didn't and worked (works) fine _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600

It says you need to re-install MyTomTom in compatability mode.
Aquire the .exe installer, then in properties, compatibility, choose Windows Vista compatibility mode and 'Run as administrator'.
Then install.
I presume you are running Windows 7 64-bit and there is no 64-bit version of MyTomTom _________________ Darren Griffin |

Darren:-
Your comment was quite correct, this may need to be a new topic.
However one last chance - I am running Vista 64bit
It looks as though a file is missing in the Preinstall64.
I'll try TT Support (Oh dear) |
