According to the link to the Tomtom site, the 'issue' was resolved at 16:30 today.
I managed to download 860 map for a Go550 Live last night at the 3rd attempt ! _________________ Tomtom GO550 Live 9.430 UK & Ireland 895.4438

Yes, but was it the 860 map?
I spent over 2 hours downloading Western Europe last night only to find it was 855 which had been downloaded and was already on the memory card.
This was after two earlier attempts which took 30 seconds and turned out to be 32 MB files
Finally got the right map at 3pm today, but many local errors are still there. _________________ GO 750 Live HD Traffic, Map Europe 930, Navcore 9.510 |

Updated this evening with no problems. I did try and update last night but it didn't show in home.
Positives - Several key changes reported have now been updated in this map. Always nice to see.
Negitives - Lost traffic bar. Am now being told I need to subscribe this this service. (I already do) Call to TT Support tomorrow by the looks of things.
Handy that, just in time for a trip to Edinburgh tomorrow *sigh*

I have a GO 750 Live. Updated to Europe 2GB 860.3102 this evening about 6pm. Took about 70 minutes to download, mapsettings.cfg was transferred over automatically by TT Home without requiring my intervention. |

I got v860 for my 520, XL Live and 550 on Wednesday night, then bought the update service for my Carminat, by which time the download problem had set in, so I've just downloaded it tonight (less than five minutes from start to finish, downloaded and installed). Strange - whilst poking around, I discovered there's no Mapsettings.cfg file on the Carminat (in any of the three backups since new, 1st August). I wonder where my settings are kept? _________________ Dennis

Downloaded maps v860 to my SD card. I did have to copy over mapsettings.cfg from the backup.
On my GO 720, when I then tried to boot up got into the boot loop issue, solved as usual by using Operate My Go on TT Home to create a favourite (and then delete it).
All seems to be fine. I haven't noticed any major changes yet. |

I can't be completely sure, but the Derby city centre around "the cock pitt" appears to have been changed. That's been a bane for me for years. Hard to tell if it is right now though, but I'll go through it sometime soon I expect. |

I have just downloaded the update to my 930 and all went well. I had backed up the previous installation and knew that I was going to lose my favourites, so I saved the .cfg file as recommended, hoping to be able to paste it back later. Alas, this did not work. All it succeeded in doing was locking the device on the welcome scree. Ah well!

Well my Western Europe Zone was OK. I down loaded and installed the Northern Zone and it crashes when trying to select the country on navigation. Putting back the western Europe and hope they sort out tthe problem. |
