but, apart from music & stuff what can i store on my SD card (TT720) in order to free up the TT disc?.
Could I switch the POIs & maps to the SD card (like i did on my Medion ..oh the shame!!) & would this have any impact during navigating?
Cheers

Dave, you map folder containing all your POI's will be quite happy on the SD card, in fact if you have a high speed card in the unit it will plan routes faster than with the map stored on the internal Flash.
If you really want to you can put everything on to the SD card including the Navcore software, doing this forces the unit to boot from the card - Mike |

Like Mike says.
I have a TT720 as well, everything is on the SD card - Euro maps and all.
It all works a treat.

also worth a mention is the fact that if you use a 4G card then it's possible to update large maps (e.g. Western Europe) as one map. Otherwise TomTom try to get you to split the mapping into (in)convenient regions. But to do this you must remove the card from the 720 and have it in a separate card reader on your PC. _________________ Phil |
