Quote: | As I write this I can see the sea mist lifting. A blast of sea air will give me a welcome break from replying to emails from irate subscribers demanding we refund them £3. Just had another one. I'm tempted to send them 300 x 1ps in an envelope and forget the stamps! |
This is from your recent newsletter. Are you talking about your customers here? What do you think your customers are thinking about you right now? Poor show dude. |

I would think most of their customers are laughing....
This refers to the few strange people who paid their subscription when the price was £19.99, but think they deserve a refund because the price has SINCE been reduced on special offer to £16.99.
You're not one of them are you?
If you bought a tin of cat food in Tescos and then the next week they put the price down, would you be demanding they refunded the difference?

With you Andy. Just don't see how people are so small minded, I go to the supermarket every week (not to mention the petrol stations) and you get price changes. It happens everywhere - all the time.
In any case, £19.99 is a very good price for the database.
As for the sending a refund in 1p coins? I would send them it in 1/2p coins - if they were still legal tender. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

Seriously? It's called humour, something that many of those who emailed us on the issue of the promotional price lacked, along with good manners and a sense of proportion. _________________ Darren Griffin |
