Hi all I am new here and I hope someone can help me. I am trying to find a place to buy a part for a Royal Tek GPS, it is the module with antenna and the part number is RGM3550. I am having no luck at all trying to get the people on Royal Tek's website to understand me and what I want, is there anywhere in the english speaking world I can pick up this part for my grandfather??
Thanx,
Jim

The replacement part seems to now be the RGM-3550LP which is also used in the "myguide 3000" GPS but I still can't seem to locate the actual part...... |

Phew... I'd think this is going to be near impossible.
From the pictures you show, these things are made in a factory in China and re-badged for whoever buys a million of them wholesale.
I don't imagine there's any service or spares organisation set up to look after end users.
Sorry to be so negative, and I hope I'm wrong, but that's been my experience with other bits of Chinese kit. |

Thanx for the update, I have an inquiry into Royal Tek hoping they can point me in the right direction of whoever uses tham here in the US, I figure I might be able to buy one from a GPS manufacturer here.... |
