I have searched the forum for this problem, but no success, so I apologise if it is there & I have missed it. I have a Nuvi 760T with all software / firmware updates installed. Recently, it has started displaying a thin blue line superimposed on my route, going both forward and backward from the car icon. This occurs whether I am using a stored route or just entering a destination. It does not appear to affect the unit or navigation otherwise.
The line appears to start from my set home address as a set of connected straight lines similar to a child's scribble overlaid on that part of the map, not just roads. It is also initially present from my previous journey to the end, arriving at home. I have tried deleting and resetting my home location.
My next step would be to delete all user information, but I wanted to see if anyone else has had the problem first.
Anyone any ideas?

it's a log of your routes. there should be something in the user data or in the settings for showing the track on the map.
without having the device i can't be any more specific, but there will be an option somewhere!

IIRC it's a trace of your previous trips. There should be an option to switch it off. |

I have a Nuvi 760 and, from checking, to turn trip log on/off go to Tools/Settings/Map and you will then see a Trip Log show/hide toggle. |

Thanks guys for all replies. Deleted all trip log data & set trip log to "hide." Everything back to normal now. Once again, many thanks to all.
