Are they speed cameras? Or traffic cameras?
Also what does BE, DE, DR IE mean?
I am guessing they are updates for countries?
So BE - Belgium
DE - Denmark
FR - France?
So which one is England? OR UK? |

Yes they are speed cameras, including mobiles, hence the 'premium' tag. Not as good as PGPSW ones though
Also correct about the country designation, this countrys cameras are found in the UK file.
Hope that helps. _________________ Mike

How do I get access to the PGPSW ones?
I cannot find the UK update? Or maybe it wasn't posted? Updated?
The UK one should be "UK" right? |

Look at the top left of each forum page side bar and you'll see the PGPSW logo with a speed camera overlaid with the words 'Download here'. Provided you are a 'paid up' member you can download the database, for Tom Tom you want the OV2 file and you can choose between various levels of data dependant upon the level you need.
Also on the download page are links to help pages and there are also videos that will assist you if you get stuck. Of course there are always others here to help if that fails.
HOME will usually download the files relevent to the map you are using, it would be useful to others if you put your system details as your signature as I have done.

Just one alteration needed if you wouldn't mind, can you include your navcore and map(s) version please.
In navcore 8.x you tap the right hand part of the status bar where the satellite strength is, then tap the app version number and that will give tha app version and map version on one screen. This can also be done in 9.x by tapping the main screen and arrowing through the menus until you get a blue circle with an 'i' in it (Status & information) which, if pressed', will give the same screen.
I see you've gone to another thread about the uk cameras, good luck. _________________ Mike

Mouse9... TAKE OUT your Device ID from your signature text. That should be kept private.
You SHOULD only get the "premium" camera files from TT if you are subscribed to their "LIVE" services. Are you?
Sometimes Home gets into a mess and offers files it shouldn't, so if you are not a subscriber, that might be the reason you are seeing SOME of the country files but not those for the UK.
The PGPSW camera files are arguably a lot better, and to access those you need to be a subscriber to THIS site, currently £16.99 for a year.
With that you have the chance of free lifetime membership for spotting a new camera (or an error/change to an existing one) first and reporting it accurately. |

Remove the Device line as you shouldnt reveal that, and add the map name, i.e. UK & Ireland or W&C Europe for example, and then we're there _________________ Mike

Is that better?
What will people do with the device name? Why can't I show it? _________________ Tom Tome XL IQ Routes

It used to be part of the information needed to create a "hacking code" in order to make pirate copies of maps, which could then be traced back (incorrectly) to you. Although TomTom use a different method to lock the maps to your unit now, it's still better safe than sorry to keep it to yourself! |
