Is anyone else having problems downloading the fuel prices ?
When I try and download them via Home I keep getting an error message saying that the file is invalid. I've tried removing all fuel prices from the device and my PC and re downloading the file again but I keep getting the same message.
It seems as if the file being downloaded is corrupt.
I've reported it to Tomtom but just wondered if anyone else has the same problem.
I've got a TT XL Live running the latest maps and navcore
and yes I know the data can be a bit dodgy but it seems to be reasonably accurate where I live.
Thanks |

The file you are downloading is corrupted and you will just have to wait for the next release which will probably be some time today. _________________ Drivelux |

I had the same problem on Saturday. I've just unticked it for now and will try again in a few days. It appears the CAB file is 0kb in size for some reason.
I don't use it but download all the updates every now and then just in case I need it for some reason. |

I'll try again tomorrow though to see if it's sorted.

Had this problem yesterday. Other files updated OK without a problem. |

Also had the same problem here, have emailed TT but do not expect a quick answer.
Yet another instance of paying for "Live" services that do not work.
I often wonder how up to date the live info is anyway, having travelled home last night being constantly told of an 11 minute delay on my route.
I must have blinked and missed it. |

A newer version of fuel prices has been released today and yet again it has an empty cab file. _________________ Drivelux |

As it's being dropped from new models it seems reasonable that it won't be long before it's gone from existing subscriptions too. _________________ Darren Griffin |

If it is being dropped I would hope to get some sort of refund then aas we wouldn't be getting the full Live services from that advertised when we signed up |

It's no longer offered in the LIVE services package for GO 1000 and VIA.
Why I do not know, perhaps because the data was so hopelessly poor and out of date!
I'd guess they will keep it running for existing customers until their subscription expires. _________________ Darren Griffin |

i have had this problem since i updated to the new software,
i have been in contact with tomtom, we have stripped my 540 tomtom and rebuilt the software on it and it still has the same problem, it seems tomtom are stumped on this . |

As it's affecting a number of people it's more likely to be a TomTom fault - maybe this is their remedy for the abysmally inaccurate Fuel Prices information

It's been fine for me until last Friday when it just stopped working.
I've had a response from Tomtom who say there is a temporary issue with tehir servers and they are giving it their highest priority !!! |
