|
|
Hi
I have just converted from a TomTom satnav to a Garmin Nuvi 1690 and so far love it, one problem I am having is the speed camera warnings I have got them on the unit fine but I have failed to get the voices working the unit does not play MP3's and I cant seem to convert them to be usable not sure if it is because I am a mac user or not any help would be much appreciated
If someone could maybe convert them to the correct format for me and send them that would be a great help I like the Liz Whitaker voices |

Yes I don't know why, when so many Garmins now (including all the latest models) don't run mp3s PGSPW don't include the option of wav file versions of their voices for everyone, as opposed to just directing them on how to do a conversion. Seems a waste of a lot of peoples time and effort, instead of just one person doing it for everyone
Maybe they have a reason? Over to them... _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600

Each individual voice file needs to have exactly the same name as its corresponding camera file, but with a different extension (.wav).

I thought most if not all new Garmin's supported .MP3?
If that is incorrect then we will certainly look at offering .WAV versions. _________________ Darren Griffin |
