Hi,
I have a TT940, and since the new navcore update, when I plan a route using Long and Lat off Google Earth, then unit finds the route then continually replans and gets stuck in this loop until you begin the journey.
Is anyone else getting this?

I haven't seen any other reports of this. Is it the same route that has the problem or any route?
I'm sure I've used it couple of times without problems.
Thread subject edited to clarify.

I have not noticed anything different about navigating to reference points.
I have always noticed that frequent replanning can take place if there is not a good satellite lock and your current position is drifting slightly around which can make your unit think your direction of travel is changing, even though you are stationary. I usually get this in my garage and as soon as the car gets out of it and a decent signal, it stops. _________________ Drivelux |

Mr T might be on to something.
Are you planning the route indoors? Sometimes when setting up a route indoors my unit can't decide where I am and it flicks between two roads causing it the recalculate. However it does this whichever way you calculate the route - POI, long & lat, favourite etc |

Hi Guys,
Paul B2005 and Mr T, thanks for your replies I think you could have hit the nail on the head. I do plan routes inside, so that is probably it. The strange thing is though is that i have always done this (I live in a bungalow) and not seen this problem before in the previous navcores.
Thanks again, I will post again if this is not the reason.
