Right.... That's it! I'm throwing in the towel.
How do I get Tom Tom to take this bloody unit back, I can't get it to update the maps to update as a complete entity, only as zones, zoning makes the unit unfit for purpose, as it's not seamless pan-european mapping.

In my ongoing "correspondence" with TT about being unable to get live services, Zoe V. tells me to to tap into the signal strength indicator screen in the bottom right of the map screen to view the version number - what signal strength screen?
It's different on the x50 models and Zoe should know that!!
Tap for Menu, then right arrow twice to get to Main Menu 3 of 3, then bottom centre tap Status & Information, then tap top left, Version information - and all will be revealed. She may have also wanted you to tap centre of that information screen, Network, to see that information too. _________________ Dennis

Could you please throw in the towel on repeating your stuff in two separate threads? It's doing my head in and no doubt some others too! You are dropping slightly different versions of your story and getting slightly different versions of advice in both here and here - doesn't help! _________________ Dennis
