I am trying to find a way that when a speed camara is spotted it can actually anounce if it is a GATSO or SPECIAL and not just go Beep-Beep. I have the software to look at all the voice files but nothing to open the POI file but would have to write the file to say GATSO which is fine but getting the camera database to know where to look for the voice file might not be pracicable as it might be embedded in the main software.

Any advise would be grateful

Welcome to the forum, whilst its possible to get some nav units to announce the camera type and speed as you approach it, you won't get an i3 to do this as the device doesn't support it - Mike

Thanks Mike thought there might be a problem as the I3 is old in technology terms.

You can get some i3's to use just ONE voice.
