I can only get one male English computer voice for my 950LIVE and no female computer voices apart from one US one. (That's US of A not useless).

Whats wrong with putting Kate on the 950, thats the voice I tend to use and it works fine, you don't need to use the useless TomTom Home software to download/ install this voice simply click Here for the download then use WinRar to extract the folders and files straight to the"LoquendoTTS" folder on the device - DO NOT EXTRACT THE DOWNLOAD TO THE DEVICE IT MUST BE SENT TO THE "LoquendoTTS" FOLDER
As for a reason why Home isn't offering this voice for your device I have no idea, but following the above information will sort the issue out - Mike |

Hi Mike and thanks. I think I can get Kate v 700, but she is not a computer voice. Still, I will install that one as a backup.

If you download the Kate voice using the link I provided and install it you will find that "Kate" is most certainly a computer voice - Mike |
