I installed GPS info 1.3 on a Mio 168 unit and it doesn't recognize the GPS receiver
Other software such as Winfast Navigator and Destinator 3 work fine with the Mio 168.
Anyone have a solution? |

GPS Info isn't a very robust app and won't necessarily work with all GPS Receivers. |

It came supplied with my Globalsat BT-308 and I'vce yet to get it to work.
I still get "$PSRF OK" each time I press cold start and that is it.
I know about resetting from SiRF to NMEA. I've had my unit run down and then left it for 48 hours...result.... exactly the same. $PSRF OK!!!!!!!!!!!!
I appreciate the hard work and effort put in by people on this forum and wonder how others who don't know of its existence manage to make things work.
When I press scan port nothing at all appears to happen???? |

Try WinFast Navigator on our downloads page, connect under NMEA and initiate a factory fix. |

Please bear with me on this, I've tried it, started the program Tools - Port settings - gives me a screen which says. " Error! Couldn't find a value"???
OK'ing out of this I then get the screnn with the option of NMEA or Sirf, whatever I chose I get "Error! Couldn't open serial port *"????? |

Is the GPSInfo software still available for free download. The link in the original article only seems to be advertising links only and not a download for the software. Thanks |
