Have a look at Carcomm as they make a few suitable holders, try This One for starters - Mike |

There is quite a big difference between the two items:
The one from Argos will work with a 930
The one from Halfords will NOT work with a 930 (well its not intended to work with it, even if you manage to hack it in order to get it working, which is possible there is no way of knowing it will work all the time with the 930)
There is no mount for the x20/ x30 that has a built in RDS receiver, the Carcomm unit I linked to earlier simply lets you connect a receiver to it - Mike |

just an update.
was just about to purchase an rds-tmc and was asked which one id like??
seems to be 2 model numbers available but he didnt know which was the latest or best for my 930.(dont think he could read as i thought it would say on the box).
9v00.101 or 2v00.017
had a read through this old thread back from 2007 but they are also different numbers http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=56106&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=330
so any ideas the great members of gps world.

MrDJ
If you are interested I have a brand new totally unopened RDS-TMC reciever Part No.9v00.017 which is the recommended receiver with the circular (not usb) type connector. _________________ Jonial

The part number in my signature is the tag on the antenna of my usb version, which I believe is the latest version. I recall previous discussions were it was found that the box that the antenna comes in has its own part number, and this is the one that the salesperson seems to be confusing. I got mine by ordering from the amazon website where the picture showed a usb connection...... _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]

is this the same one that jonial is offering for sale above as id rather get one that is gauranteed to work (depending on radio station coverage).
