Hi Guys
Been meaning to buy a Sat Nav or GPS for sometime and have at last got around to it - came down on side of GPS as will be used for trail riding/cycling/walking.
Never having owned a SN or GPS before was quite daunting having a play with it and reading the online manuals but I'm getting there!
Have managed to produce a route in SatSync and export it to the Satmap OK so I'm making progress
Question is that when having the full 1:50000 GB card in, the file areas and Import & Export buttons in SatSync were greyed out/inactive - is this right - is the card full?
Have bought a couple of 1:25000 cards since and I exported my route onto one of those no problem.
Looking forward to producing some more routes but my paper maps will not be redundant! |

Hi Bimbler,
Welcome to the group.
If you can get it to work with 1:25,000 cards then my first suggestion about the 1:50,000 is that you check to see if the write protect tab is in the protect position. _________________ LostMike

Thanks LostMike, I'll check that out. No doubt I'll be asking other questions |

Use a card reader to backup your map, license.map and CID.xml files. |
