Files received here - thank you Mike. I take it that the easiest way to use it is to Select POI near You, when it will display the frequency of the nearest transmitter. I loaded the file and tried it out here (near Swansea) and it showed the frequency of Kilvey Hill, which is about 6 miles away. I shall try it out in earnest tomorrow on my way to Dover!

Quick question Mike if I may.....

Do these frequencies update regularly (you sent me the file about a year ago).....is there / has there been many changes? Can we find out from another source (to save you the hassle!)....

What happens to Mainland europe (France) - does anybody know how RDS-TMC works over there?

The POI file covers UK, France and Scandinavia, collating the information takes some considerable time and to be honest I haven't updated/ checked the contents in some time.
I guess an up to date frquency and transmitter list should be available from iTIS Holdings who supply the data in the UK so I will have a look in to that before too long, as for Mainland Europe I was lucky to get the other countries data, most simply didn't bother to reply to the enquiry - Mike

Thanks for the file, as I only have UK coverage I'm going to reduce the file to just those. I'm surprised how few transmitters there are in the UK, no wonder the reception is poor. I'll have to try 101.8 (Hemdean, Reading) to see if that helps on the M25 western stretch

BTW what does the No. in brackets after the transmitter name mean?
