Just replaced my old PDA with TT XL IQ Routes which had an inline TMC on the 12v car USB does anyone know whether this will work with TT Traffic and what do I have to do? _________________ TTXL IQ Routes |

Yes, TomTom traffic should work with the USB receiver. (but it won't be HD Traffic)
When you plug it in it should be recognised. Do you get a new bar down the right hand side of the screen? |

No reaction at all to the in-line TMC possibly being 5years old it has packed up .
I never used it on my Holux as it was originally AA Navigator and the OS was so poor converted it to TT
Incidentally I won the Holux at PGSW event in Basingstoke _________________ TTXL IQ Routes |

I think you are asking if your old non-TT RDS-TMC will work with your new TT?
If so, I would doubt it very much, in fact I would be amazed if it did. Worse case scenario is that it damages your TT in some way if it is putting a voltage on to the mini USB connector. |

Only TomTom RDS-TMC receivers will work with TomTom PND's trying to plug a Holux unit into the TomTom won't work - Mike |
