Does anyone know how to create new voice files for use with TomTom 3?
I see that there are some on the TomTom site which it says were created by users but no more information. |

It should be as simple as just creating them and naming them correctly. Look in your Navigator folder on your PDA for all the .WAV files. You can then play them from here and create your own replacements by using any WAV file editor. |

Thank you.
I thought it must be more complicated than that as the downloads provided by TomTom all seemed to have setup files, etc...
Has anyone tried this? I thought it would be funny to have a grumpy navigator, hysterical navigator, etc... |

| The TomTom download replaces the current voice with the new voice. Whereas, the alternative is to the use the TomTom Voice Switcher which allows you to have multiple voices installed on your PPC - see http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=10270 for more details. |
