Did you sign up for the traffic account when TT made the mistake of making it available before they should have done and then removed it. If so I suspect that date is stored on your PDA and not the date of its offical release and the date stored on TT's site would be the expiry date for the official 3 month trial. _________________ Graham.

I did have an earlier version, but that account was closed and I had to take out a new account.
However, even if my trial had run for three months, I can see no way to subscribe to the full version. |

Perhaps an email to TT might be in order to clarify the situation. I was under the impression that once you had reached the expiry date for the trial version. The date shown on the TT site, that the site will give you the option to upgrade to the full release for the year.
Which in your case would be the 25th August 2004. _________________ Graham.

I have emailed TomTom and their reply was ignore the date on the PDA and go on the one on the web site.
Well I have hard reset my PDA and formatted the SD card re-installed TomTom and the Maps and the expiry date according to my PDA is still 31st July, later this week. This date can only have come from the TT web site.
So will my Traffic die on 31/07 or not? |

If my memory is correct I think you will find that date is stored on your PC along with the activation code from the original installation to your PPC
Along with various other installation files.
I would just keep running it and see what happens on the 1-08-04 _________________ Graham.

I have not received this message yet and was one of the first to install traffic before the release date.
This may be becase I reset my IPAQ and reinstalled from scratch on the day that Traffic was released officially! _________________ Please follow me on twitter @mdyson1968 |
