Almost like clockwork, every Monday morning my time (about 6:30 am, 11:30 am your time), when I log into PGPSW, my username/pw information is not here and I must log in again. It's as if the cookie isn't being found.
Normally doesn't happen again all week nor does it happen at other sites as a rule. But every Monday morning, I need to log in here again.
Weird, eh? _________________ David |

This happened to me also today although it certainly doesn't happen every Monday.
I am using a machine at work that hasn't logged onto the site for 9 days as I've been using my PC at home. Perhaps there is a time limit for each PC? _________________ Paul |

perhaps you have cookies set to expire after, say, 48 hours? i.e. over the weekend if you don't log on. then, come monday, you need to log in again?

Possibly. Any idea where this setting would be found in IE7? _________________ Paul |

no idea. never use IE except to make sure their useless CSS rendering hasn't messed things up too much!

Even if I did know where that setting is in IE8, I did not set it to expire on this site. And, as I mentioned in the original post, cookies from other sites don't seem to have an expiry date ...... _________________ David |

I have no choice at work, I have to use what the IT police (sorry department) install for me.
I'll ask them tomorrow if they have helpfully chosen a short cookie expiry time as being best for me.
I'll also ask how to change the setting although I don't expect that I will be allowed to fiddle with such an important setting myself _________________ Paul |

I entered the site today via an email notification, which normally has me already logged in (I never log out, just close Firefox), but I found myself not logged in. I've been away for three weeks and haven't logged in since probably 17th/18th June. _________________ Dennis
