I believe that several of you are using your A10 without the removable front cover. Given the availability of Zagg and Vikuiti screen protectors I am also thinking about this.
However I keep the A10 in its pouch on my shoulder when walking and often take it in and out to check on things. There seems a reasonable likelihood that the edge of a Zagg or Vikuiti screen protector will get caught and start to peel off if I do this without the plastic front cover.

The Zagg is very robust and, having applied one, with some difficulty*, I'm confident that it will take a lot of abuse without the edges catching and lifting. Its almost a semi rigid plastic rather than a thin peel off film. If you're worried, try it with a protective strip of electrical tape to the bottom edge. *My air bubbles took about 2 weeks to dissipate. |

Does the Zagg improve readability in the sun? |
