"That would have taken him into the mart, which is effectively a cul-de-sac." He said Wedemeyer waited for traffic to pass until he made the turn, and simply did not see the motorbike.

| sorry, but how is it the satnav's fault that the driver didn't check his mirror's before making a turn?! |

The headline does not say "to blame", it reads "led to".
The motorbike was coming towards him not behind him.
He made a mistake which he admitted. |

surely a better headline would be 'un-attentive driver, not paying attention, knocks man off bike' ?
