Hello All,
Please can anyone tell me why the "go to" arrow in memory map v5 disappears and reappears erratically on my loox n520 but is stable on my mio p550?

Well, the GPS sensitivity of my Loox N560 is very poor compared with most "high sensitivity" GPS devices (I don't know about the N520) so it might just be repeatedly losing tracking.

However, another reason might be because Memory Map doesn't use the "position" data to calculate the "GoTo arrow", but a "velocity vector" in the NMEA "RMC" data packet sent by the GPS engine. There appears to be a "bug" in some versions of the SiRF software which causes the vector to be reported as zero below a certain critical speed (a few mph) and this makes the MM arrow disappear. I discussed it in detail in a thread on the GpsPasSion forum. Or it might be that "Static Navigation" (which has a similar effect) is enabled on the Loox.

I don't know if it's possible to record a short NMEA data (text) file on the N520, but if you could it might confirm if this is the problem.
