Has anyone else noticed that their 'statdata' folder is not being cleared after updating through TT Home?
I was doing my routine backup and noticed that the 'anonymous road usage statistics' files in the statdata folder are all there, back until April 6th. This is unusual as they used to be deleted after being uploaded. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed it?
Of course, this only applies to those who agree to anonymously provide the feedback to TT on road speeds, I appreciate that many don't.

Mine haven't cleared since last June. Since each file is only a few hundred bytes, I haven't bothered to clear them yet. Your gpsquickfix files never clear either when a new one is downloaded (check your ephemeris folder on your computer found here:
C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\My Documents\TomTom\HOME\Downloads\complete\ephemeris\ _________________ David |

Whoops... that'll teach me to be vague.
I'm not referring to the files that home downloads and then stores on the C: drive (even after installing them, an utter pain but I'll check out the CCleaner tool - thanks).
Instead I'm talking about the trip files stored on the device itself, in the statdata. They record the road segments I've travelled and the time it's taken to travel them and get uploaded in order to provide better, more accurate IQ routings.
In the past these would be removed from the device every time it was connected to TT Home, presumably as TT sucked the info up to their servers.
Recently they've not been removed, and I'm not sure if it's a glitch or because TT have stopped hoovering up the information. |

Huh. Whilst trying to fix an unrelated problem i've just discovered mine hasn't been emptied since 6 April either. My last backup shows 2 files dated 30 and 31 March, but my unit currently shows 29 trip log files going back to 6th April... |

You need to set it up under Options - Include and then run the Custom File and Folders Clean to remove them. |
