Itinerary Planning Error

I have been planning a journey in the Isle of Man using the TYRE application. I have transferred the itinerary to my device but am geting a planning error between two points. The error is between 54.17179, -4.46783 and 54.22947, -4.40367.

My device is a Rider 2 running App 7.901 and using UK & RoI map version 845.2647.

Other than using a paper map, has anyone any ideas about what I could try next please?

If you do a Prepare route A-B between those 2 points do you still get an error?

Do you still get it if you start the Route at the Ferry Terminal you're using on the UK mainland??

Many thanks for your swift reply Richard.

I have just tried the prepare route between the two points and it plans the route correctly.

I have deliberately started the route from a point on the island rather than from a ferry point in case that created a problem.

I'd guess that some part of the TT (Tourist Trophy, not TomTom) route has been wrongly marked as closed road. I'm not sure how you could check, maybe Mapshare??

How bizarre? After several hours of trying various possible remedies I finally gave up in disgust last evening. This morning I powered up the TT Rider, loaded the itinerary and it planned the route perfectly! I guess it was some kind of voltile RAM issue that cured itself with a shutdown and re-boot.

@JockTamsonsBairn: The same thought crossed my mind about it being the TT course. The first part of the itinerary is a lap of the TT circuit (well, how daft would it be to take a motorcycle to the Isle of Man and then not ride the course? )
