iGo 8 Skins for 800 x 480 Resolution - Recommendations?

Hi all!

I have been happily using iGo8 on a Fujitsu Siemens C550 for over a year or so, when I decided to upgrade my Mobile to a HTC HD2. I now have the option of transferring my iGo8 to the HD2, which has a larger screen, faster processor and is always with me.

Having run the software on the HD2, I found it so quick and smooth compared to the old C550 (poor thing!), that I am pretty much sold on retiring the C550.

A downside of moving to the HD2, is that the skin I was using isn't compatible with the HD2s resolution of 800 x 480. The skin is the Ultra Skin, which I have always found to be superb, enhancing, but not overcomplicating it's functionality.

So, as I need a little bit more that the vanilla iGo8, can anyone recommend an alternative skin, that can cope with 800 x 480 resolution, yet isn't too complicated and garish?

All the Skins appear to be 800 x 480, was your 400 a typo? If not I can't think of anything suitable but if it was try these

You can try the Kikker 2.3TCX version, which is the Ultra "clone".
worked well for me on Omnia, works well on the HD2 as well.
It supports (in extrapolated 400x240) resolution themechanger as well, so you have seasonal changes of the map colours, phased dusk and dawn etc.

I have modified the Kikker to support natively 800x480, but I messed up something and themechanger is crashing

So, it you want extrapolated 400x240 - google for kikker 3.2TCX (but you have to change the settings in the sys.txt file to force the igO to read the 400_240 folder and stretch it to 800x480), or, if you want this native 800x480 without the themechanger, I can send it to you.

I'm running Kikker 3.2 and it works very nicely - the colours are easy on the eye and layout is logical and easy to read.

Just trying out Kikker 3.2 now as well. It has native 800x480 compatability, so it does work and I do like it's layout as it's very unfussy, without the rather eye straining colour schemes some of the others go for.

So I'll need to try it out a few times to confirm if it is now going to be my choice of Skin
