|

Hi
I quite new to TTN3 so hopefully there will be an anwser to this problem I have come across.
I was going to a house today to carry out a job, the address I was given was York Avenue in Swinton, Greater Manchester, no postcoe.
I went to Find Address, entered Swinton, chose Swinton(Greater Manchester) then entered York Avenue but then I was faced with 9 different York Avenues .
How do I know which York Avenue is the one I want that is actually in Swinton? 6 of the addresses had Manchester postcodes, 2 had Oldham and 1 had a Bolton postcode.
So basically TTN3 was useless for me this morning.
Is there a way to just display the addresses in a given town?
I check with Autoroute on my PC and there is only 1 York Avenue in Swinton so why was I faced with all the others?
Any help would be appreciated. |

Gary
Like you, i'm a tom tom 3 newbie too.
what version of tom tom are you on? I read on the tom tom site that the 3.03 update helped to reduce this issue.
seems to have worked for me so far this week. |

Im using 3.02 at the moment, I'll have to try the 3.03 update then and see if that helps.
Cheers |

Bingo, 3.03 now installed.
I have just seached for York Avenue and this time they are still all listed but the one in Swinton (one I wanted) is actually listed at the top - Result.
Thanks very much for that. |
