SPEC on M1 J11-J13

Hi All

Have just been on M1 (mid day 30/3/10) from J10 to J15 and return

Between J11 to J13 north bound I saw 7 new spec cameras, all with the yellow board
CAMERA NOT IN USE sign below them, but only 2 show up on the database.

South bound J13 to J12 4 new cameras as above. Not on database

Southbound J12 to start of road works 2 new cameras as above. Not on database.


Do the cameras with the Yellow sign Cameras not in use show up on database or do you wait until they become live?

What is the quickest and most accurate way to plot the position of these cameras as you drive past them at 70-80mph on a TT720?

I've just been through here with a database I downloaded today. None of the cameras whether in use or not were showing up but I was getting a 50mph alert even in places where the camera's were not in use before and after the roadworks where NSL was in operation.

Another problem is further north of Luton there is a 50 limit northbound but not southbound. When travelling back I had to turn my sat nav off it was so confusing.
