nokia 5800+720+bluetooth

hi all, have tried a search but cant find a solution

my 5800 was synced with my 720 a while back and worked ok
i have tried syncing and it now dosent work, the phone has password and authorisation and when the phone is queired it shows on the screen but it doesn't seem to lock?

i've not done any updates to tomtom but 5800 may have had - cant remember time scale.

Hi I have the same problem this happened when the 5800 phone was updated to v31.0.101. I have heard there is a new version v4.00 due out soon this might address this issue.

I used an SE880i with my 940 OK showed messages etc. Updating phone to a Nokia 5800 gave problems. They don't like one another, TomTom say's tuff it's to do with Nokia.

The best I can get is Connected to 5800 for voice only, sometimes it links up straight away but mostly I have to open up the Bluetooth options on the phone and ask it to connect which it will until you turn off the 940. Even then you get problems with it losing it's voice after a phone call. I hope a Nokia update will fix it but I'm not holding my breath.

i have 5800 with latest update 40.0,005 still wont work with my 750
