Hi All,
I know this is a forum for IGO devices but I have just bought a Binatone Carrera X350 sat nav and I need to install lpg gas re-fill stations as poi's, can anyone tell me how to do this or if a database already exists for lpg stations that I can download.
Ta very much.

Hi John,
If you check the POI pages on this site, under Fuel, there is a LPG poi with over 1200 entries in it. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

If I were to use this LPG poi file, where does it go in the SDMMC directory structure and how do I tell it what icon I wish to use with the data. Also, where does the icon go?
I've added the poi file (in userdata\poi) but when you go to Find option all the LPG filling stations are listed as individual points under the POI groupings,
ie I do have Accomodation with a sub file structure of camping grounds or hotels
So I now have 19 main groups and the rest as seperate items.
Whats wrong?
Thanks

You need to download as or convert to .kml format. This generates two more files .kix and .kns. which will show in the User Data/POI folder, you'll then get one extra category in POI's
edit due to typo. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

Hi Lost_Property.
I only see OV2 or CSV in the POI downloading options, no KML.
Do you have a preferred converter for creating the appropriate KML, KIX & KNS files, from the PGPSW POI files? And do you recommend downloading OV2 or CSV from the PGPSW POIs?
Many thanks in advance. _________________ Was Typhoon MyGuide 7000 XL with AA Navigator then iGO 2006+.

Poiconverter, from our own Oldie, can open either format and save in .kml _________________ Richard

Oldboy beat me to it. a-g-a-i-n!
Just one thing, just copy and paste the created .kml file to the User Data/POI folder.
On starting iGO will create the .kix and ,kns files. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

Thank you OldBoy, and thank you Lost_Property
You just beat me to the question regarding where the .kix & .kns files came from! _________________ Was Typhoon MyGuide 7000 XL with AA Navigator then iGO 2006+.
