I'm thinking of changing my 520 to a 550 because I find the 520 to be slow. I'm assuming the x50 has a more powerful cpu, can anyone confirm it is better in this respect? |

Slow? In what respect? I can't say I find my 940 any faster than my 720. _________________ Darren Griffin |

One possible reason for your machine running slowly is having too many POIs enabled to show on the driving view/map.
Try switching them ALL off in: Change preferences / Show POI on map and see if it runs much smoother.
Then only enable the ones you actually NEED to see all the time (such as speed cameras). You can still have them set up for "Warn when near" if you like as that won't slow it down at all. |

I currently have only the cameras on atm. If I put anything else on then it does not cope very well. |
