i just got a refurbished go 300 without a loaded sd card, where can i found the software that i need to get started, i don't care what version it is as long as it will read on the tom tom home. thanks for any help. |

Welcome to the forum, you can download the Navcore software for your device for free by clicking Here this is the latest software for your device.
Next go to TomTom.com download and install the PC software package "Home" which can be used for downloading/ installing other things to your device such as POI files and voices for free.
Finally use Home to purchase your new map, it will manage the purchase, download, installation and activation - Mike |

Just to add, Mike's suggestions obviously need you to get an SD card to put everything onto as well!
For the Go300, a card upto 2GB maximum is required, and it must be a "normal" SD one, NOT one of the newer SDHC types.
Get the best (fastest) one you can afford, not one of the cheap deals you see on the internet.
Kingston and SanDisk are both good brands, but watch out for forgeries on eBay, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is! |
