I've noticed after connecting/updating this morning, that in Operate My Go, when I navigate to, and select "Post Code" that the keyboard inputs don't work as it were.
Navigate to street etc are OK.
Others got this?
Also seems to have lost all my favourites but can restore those from back up. _________________ Gel

Does it work if you use the Unit normally, and not connected to the PC? _________________ Richard

Are you using the PC keyboard or the on screen device keyboard? I can use the cursor to select a postcode using the on screen keyboard. |

Input was via TT Home on PC Keyboard. _________________ Gel

I have never been able to use the PC keyboard to enter data while using the emulator. I have a Go 550 and Windows Vista (whether that makes any difference or not!).

I think I have the answer for you guys....
You cannot use the PC keyboard to enter postcodes in "Navigate to..."
... UNLESS you use shift for the first letter only.
On other words, if you hold down the 'shift' key on the PC keyboard while you enter the first letter of the postcode, then you can enter the rest of the postcode as normal.
If you want, you can keep the shift key held down for the rest (even while you enter the numbers - which is odd) but it isn't necessary; just doing it for the first letter seems to "bump" the program into life.
But 'caps lock' doesn't work.....
It's a bug that was reported over a year ago, but has never been fixed! |

| It may be only for Versions that are using V8.xxx & later.
Using the Emulator on a 910, which has V7.903, doesn't have this problem, although the Emulator Menu layout is different to when it is used 'normally'. _________________ Richard
