940 live prob with sd card

Hi all i have loaded a pile of mp3's to my minature sd card but the tom tom dont recognise the card so i cant find the mp3's it used to work ok but not now any advice apreciated.I know they are on the card because the pc says so.

Are all the files in a folder called mp3 (all lower case)? They need to be.

Also, are you sure they ARE in proper mp3 format?

If you make an mp3 folder on internal with 1 mp3 in it, does your unit recognize it and play it?

As you use an iPhone are you sure you have loaded mp3 files to the device and not music files stored in iTunes, the music MUST be in mp3 format for the device to recognise the files - It will NOT recognise .m4a files - Mike

Well thanks for all the replies guys problem now sorted ...the sd card has gone naff i bought new card and now everything is fine..dont know y the card has gone on the sick though.
