Just helped a friend out in updating Maps & GPSW speed cams on her ONE 3rd edition. All went well.
Wanted to add Favourites as a POI category as I have on my GO520 but can't see how to do it on the ONE 3rd edition although I had it that way on my old ONE V1
There is no icon for Manage POIs on her TT so I can't see how to add or edit anything???
Checked preferences to see if an option to show fewer icons had been selected but couldn't see one.
I must be missing something obvious here??????

Unfortunately the 3rd Edition has been software crippled by TomTom.
Have a look at Thread. _________________ Richard

Thanks Richard. I thought I was going senile there for a minute.
Another good example of why we should all take a full backup before adding maps/cameras etc as I was able to get the mapsettings file from it and add to the new map folder............Favourites are back on her device |

You can still Navigate to POI on a One Third Edition so just convert your MapSettings.cfg file from the 520 to the ov2 format and use Windows Explorer to put the file on the device, have a look at the FAQ page for detailed instructions (its in the sticky threads near the top of this forum index, or simply click Here) - From memory its #15 - Mike |

Thanks Mike but I'm a bit confused................ as usual.
Won't she just finish up with a POI Category called Favourites that can be used for navigation but can't be added to or edited via the device? |
