Hi All,
I'm new to Memory Map, I'm using it with their new Adventurer 2800.
I've done very little and it's quite a steep learning curve, enjoyable though.
I'd like to ask a couple of questions if I may.
When I do a search in Memory Map on my PC all I get is a blank/white screen with an X on it. I have to re-open the map I'm using, Snowdonia NP in this case. How do I get it to search on the opened map without having to re-open it?
Secondly, I know it's new but anyone using the Adventurer 2800?
When I use search/find on that and ask it to mark the spot (or not) it does absolutely nowt! What am I doing wrong? Again using Snowdonia NP map.
Hope someone can help, I've tried everything I can think of.
Oh, and I have done a search but I just can't get on with the search at all, mind you I guess it might help if I knew exactly what I was looking for!

Hi,
Keep going back to Memory Map's forum and you should get some answers eventually. Don't expect to get any email notifications as they, like the forum search, don't seem to work.
I believe your first problem is due to an incompatibility between the way that the program was originally designed to work (wrongly IMHO) and the way that the new Digital Map Shop maps are organised.
For your second problem, have you tried double-tapping the screen which seems to be necessary for some functions on the Adventurer?
