|
|
Hi,
I am a subscribed member and having successfully downloaded and installed the UK camera database I now want to download the Fench camera database.
I can get to see the French cameras (number an type) included in the database by selecting the French cameras and then filtering, but I cannot, for the life of me get to actually downlaod them to put on my sat nav. All the download keeps daying is you loaded this database before (UK Zoned) do you wna to do this again and in the same format. Answer no I don't.
Can someone please instruct me on how to download from the full listings just the French database,
Many Thanks,
Martin |

You are clicking the 'Download Same Format' button which is a shortcut for those who download the same version each week.
To make a different selection use the drop down requester below!
Directly below:
Download A Different Version:
And you can't download France alone, you will need to download the Eur database.

....And once you've downloaded the "Europe" database, there's no need to filter the non-French cameras out of it.
Even if you only have a single country "France" map, there's no harm in adding the entire database file - it doesn't take up much space and any cameras outside the scope of the map will simply be ignored. |

At the risk of sounding boring, why not put the selection dropdown above the 'Download same format' button. Two similar threads next to each other |

Because it works for the vast majority and it's blindingly obvious to most! _________________ Darren Griffin |

cos most people download the same each time so that is the first option.

Ok. Ok. Already. But the people who know will know that it's just a tad lower, and those who don't will bump into it earlier. Two similar posts within a short space of time and several in the past would indicate to me that it could be a little clearer?? And my suggestion was only a suggestion
I have made shortcuts to the files that I download on my desktop, so don't even have to bother with the download page directly. But I'm what Dennis would call a southern smarty pants |

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your help. I've got that now and downloaded the European speed cam files. Superb.
I find these files much more comprehensive than the set that came with my TT XL Live, and give much better display on the Tom Tom screen, espcially with the larger icons,
Thanks
